The 20th May 2009 saw the Workshop Aftermarket and Technology Show™ take
place at the renowned Cape Town International Convetion Centre (CTICC).
Our hearty thanks go to all our esteemed exhibitors and supporters as
well as everyone involved helping to make this “Fast & Furious” evening
of automotive Business 2 Business networking possible and successful.

The WATS™ team received many compliments and comments during the evening
all being of the same tune, that although WATS™ Cape Town was not as big
as it’s main show in Pretoria, the amount and type of visitors was just
right, with a good number of exhibitors stating they had done very good business during the evening, as well as meeting valuable new potential clients and bolstering relationships with their current clients.

The show was extremely well supported by a large crowd of enthusiastic Parts & Technology Hungry
Visitors.

We are also proud to announce Motor Electro Diesel (M.E.D) as winners of
the “Most Innovative Stand” at the Cape Town show, with their impressive
LED Light Bars and hospitality section being a major feature at the
show. M.E.D will be receiving a certificate of their achievement as well
as the traditional WATS™ trophy being the huge Blue Chromed Shifting
Spanner for display. Congratulations to Johnny Feinstein and his team
from M.E.D on a job well done!

M.E.D. was closely followed by, Hex Diagnostix, Diesel Electric Cape Town & the Midas Group consisting of ACD, Motolek, Midas, CBS & ADCO.

WATS™ is very proud to be in the position to say that even in the current economic climate, companies have placed their trust in our show to help them gain ever priceless exposure and the opportunity to improve in their relative markets. With just under 2 months still to go before WATS Cape Town 2009 ( Workshop, Aftermarket & Technology Show ) on 20th May 2009 @ 16:00 in the CTiCC Cape Town, the Show is totally SOLD OUT! (We are trying to make more space!)

As this press release is being published immediately, our organizers are in negotiations with the CTiCC, ( Cape Town International Convention Centre ) to find ways in which more stands can be added to this explosive show!

The WATS organizers have been inundated with Exhibitor applications as well as on-Line and Faxed visitor Registrations for what promises to be a most exciting Business 2 Business Trade Show Evening, where decision making visitors & Technicians from all over the Cape Province & neighbouring Namibia will come together not only to meet many suppliers face to face & to network with many fellow Automotive Industry Members, but to also see what new & exciting products have entered the South African Automotive Market in 2009.

Visitors will find themselves in a very up market Venue, and yet, very casual “No Frills” environment, in keeping with the WATS tradition, with Side less Shell Schemes, supplied by Oasys Systems, in which visitors can speak directly to manufacturers and suppliers, and physically look at, and in many cases, try out, IT programs, tools, products, testing & Diagnostic equipment.

Show time is from 16:00 to 21:30 & Food & Drinks will be on sale from the Jasminum Restaurant.

Entrance is FREE, you only pay for your own parking ticket. Secure parking is available inside & under the CTiCC square.

We have officially added Cape Town to our list of exhibition locations in South Africa, and as such WATS CT will be taking place on the 20th of May 2009 in the Cape Town International Convention Centre, corner N1 & Coen Steytler Street, Cape Town Central.

The show will have the limited amount of 31 stands occupied by a variety of exhibitors from various parts of South Africa, some of which are specialists in their field of Automotive Technology or products & others that have the latest Diagnostic Scanners, Test Equipment, tooling & Training, available in South Africa at present.
